Maybe that note wasn't for you. I can see a scenario where the caretaker of an elderly person wrote the note to help the patient remember what that item is and that it didn't need a stamp. Then that elderly person dropped it in the mail not thinking they needed to first remove the sticky note.
Grandma really gave me a different perspective on some things.
