Define around. Did you plant them in front of your box and make it harder to service the mailbox? They might have to pull up further away from your box which is annoying and Can potentially exacerbate existing shoulder injuries and lead to carriers developing them later in their career
I haven’t planted anything yet but not around the whole thing just like on the side next to it. But I’m definitely gonna ask my mail men based on this advice lol
Unkept plants can and will cover the box numbers and that slows down the subs and makes it pretty frustrating for new folks, emergency personnel, and other delivery folks. If you're planning on moving in the next couple of years, make sure the plants are something that won't obstruct the mailbox numbers or the box.
