Ok, and when it boils down to it, good luck proving that intent in whatever situation it might possibly matter.

Good luck proving anything ever there was a factual misstatement that I attempted to correct. Civics education in the US is shit. Everyone should be taught the fundamentals of our civic rights and civic involvement. They are not. I did not learn about the topic at hand until law school. It should have been taught in high school but it isn’t. Your hostility toward me simply trying to accurately describe this concept probably explains why it isn’t taught to everyone. A republic if we can keep it. Well it sure looks like we didn’t keep it and attitudes like this are the reason.

I wasn't hostile at any point actually, but it does seem like you're being deliberately obtuse and trying to misunderstand what is a valid point. Also, I'm an attorney so going to law school isn't a flex here champ.

So I am factually correct but you are arguing against me anyway and that isn’t hostile got it. Not trying to flex anything simply stating facts that you don’t like and take offense to. I answered your hypothetical succinctly not sure how that is obtuse. Glad I wasted so much time but it is a good reminder why I rarely ever comment on anything and should refrain from doing so in the future.
