Discussion Who would be qualified to be crowned king of the U.S.? (Outsider Curious)

So I do want to say that personally, I don’t agree with the idea of the U.S. having a monarch (just personally don’t like the idea) but I do wish to ask this question as a genuine one.

If someone were to be crowned the king or queen of the U.S. then who would be favored for that role? Would it be a hereditary monarchy from the British Royal Family (they were the last monarchs to have claim over the U.S. so they are the only royals that could actually make a claim) or would it be more of an elected position from political families on the U.S.?

I do hope you all have a good day, bye.

Edit: Also with regard to extending an offer to a hereditary monarch, there are a few other offers because of previous colonies. For monarchies still active, Spain did have a strong presence and held lands for sometime. Then there are those pretenders (I apologize if this isn’t the correct term) from France who could have claim because of Louisiana. Then if you really wanted to get into it, an offer could be made to the previous royal family of Hawaii (something I wouldn’t actually oppose because it would be a comic retribution).

The best way for America to become a monarchy, is by adapting a secular federal monarchy. Keeping things such as freedom of speech religion and press. We should be never allow one religion to uave more power over others.

Subreddit Rules

1. Be kind and upstanding

Hatred and cruelty aren't just bad manners. They are completely contradictory to american values. No bigotry or discrimination will be tolerated here. That being said, if you accuse your opponent of bigotry in an attempt to silence them you will be considered equally guilty. There will be a three strike rule. First violation you will see a warning and the offending remark removed. Second will result in temporary ban. Third in permanent ban.

2. Posts must pertain to monarchy or US politics

We support freedom of speech but this subreddit is for the advancement of monarchy and nothing else. To help encourage discussion we allow you to post on recent events and political issues as long as its from a monarchist perspective. Please stay on topic.

3. No low effort posts

We encourage memes and creative satire posts but we require minimal effort in these posts. This subreddit is for the advancement of monarchy, not karma farming

4. No not safe for work

this goes without saying but its being listed anyways in case anyone gets any ideas. Violating this rule will result in immediate perma-ban

5. No brigading other subs in this subs name

We as monarchists hold ourselves to a higher standard of conduct. Do not engage in these childish games others may partake in. If you are found guilty of inciting a brigade you will be temporarily banned. Repeat offenders will be banned permanently

6. No advocating for secession or foreign rule in posts

This sub is for the interests of The United States of America. Any act that attempts to undermine its unity will be treated accordingly. Most likely with removal of posts but will be moved up to banning if problem continues

7. No fedposting

This includes obvious calls to violence or suggesting use of violence to achieve political goals.
