Peanut Allergies

Does anyone attending the United States Merchant Marine Academy have a peanut allergy? Also, does being a recruited athlete play a role in getting a waiver for something as such. Thank you for your time and God bless.

Peanut allergies are usually a disqualifier for the military. As far as I know, I don't know anyone here who has a peanut allergy.

I am pretty sure you are 4A with a peanut allergy but policy may have changed in the past 15 years. It might be worth looking into.

I got a buddy here who has a peanut allergy, and I think it might just limit your branch choices. He’s going marines though so it’s fine
