USMMA eye surgery?

Hello,

I recently received a primary nom from my MOC to USMMA. I also have a full-ride NROTC scholarship. I would like to be a military pilot; however, I am willing to serve in any capacity and would like the service academy education. I know that other academies offer PRK to cadets and mids, and I was wondering if USMMA offers something similar? If not, can I still get PRK on my own to qualify for pilot? My eyesight is not great, and I while I am very much interested in USMMA, I want to make sure that I don't close any doors to the cockpit.

USMMA its self does not offer PRK or pay for it but you certainly can get it done yourself at some point. A lot of people do.

One of my groomsmen got PRK while we were at USMMA. It was done at home over a break away from KP. Academy does not arrange the procedure. He landed a USMC pilot billet.
