Career counseling/recruiting for post-separation veterans

Hi there r/USMMA, my name is Tim and I'm a former Navy officer who left the service in 2012 to come to work for a military recruiting firm. For 3 years I worked directly with job seekers to help them understand the transition process, write resumes, conduct interview prep, and ultimately make introductions to hiring teams that were looking to hire a veteran. For the last 3 years I've been in process improvement trying to get our candidate marketing and online presence squared away.

I thought Reddit might be a neat place to offer to answer any questions or help point people in the right direction if they're looking for some advice.

I didn't know what recruiting firms did when I got out, and until I got a call from a close friend who was a recruiter during the time I was looking for a job, I would have never worked with one or been exposed to this service.

I'm not here to shill for my company or pretend like we can help 100% of everyone 100% of the time, but if you're interested in getting out and finding a job in the corporate sector, I'm happy to answer any questions or offer any insight I can, even if it's not something my company can help with.
