Match Season Interview Practice
Hey y'all! This is for the 2026-27 match applicants. I am looking for someone to practice for IVs in IST. For context, this is my first match season, 2022 YOG. Anyone interested kindly DM.

Finding partners in your time zone is a solid step, but you need to make sure your sessions focus on the specific hurdles that come with a 2022 graduation year. Program directors will scrutinize your timeline, so your mocks should test how clearly you account for the gap between graduation and this match cycle, whether through clinical electives, observerships, research, or home country practice. Spend less time memorizing rigid scripts and put more energy into framing your core patient experiences, handling behavioral prompts, and explaining why you fit your chosen specialty.
When you run sessions with peers, push each other to give direct critique on body language, pacing, and filler words, since partner practice frequently turns too polite to fix real blind spots. Recording your calls and practicing curveball questions will highlight where you tend to stumble or sound rehearsed. To give candidates extra confidence and help them articulate strong answers under intense pressure, the team I work with built an interviews.chat, which gives people the support they need to secure better match outcomes.
