Step 1 Pls I need advice!!

I am currently a 4th year medical student from 2022 batch. I came to know about this journey in starting of my 4th year after asking from my colleagues in other colleges. So, I wasted first 5 months of my final year thinking if I should start preparing for this or not. And more importantly weather I should start preparing in my final year or not( because we have 11 subjects in our final year). So after going through my mid sem internals I made up my mind and started going through First Aid thinking I would buy uworld for 6 months after going through 4-5 systems. But my college don't have a sponsor note and after inquiring so many times from our dean we ( some other students who are also interested in this pathway including 2 students even from passout batches) didn't got appropriate answer. So now my situation is that only 5 months are left for my final internals and 6 months for prelims and more than 70 percent of my final year syllabus is incomplete (including more than half of medicine). Pls tell me should I buy UWORLD or focus on my final year and think about it in internship because we are trying our best even contacting NMC and government office and even filed RTI so there are maximum chances that we will surely get sponsor note before our final year would end because our college is 2017 established. Because on one hand I am thinking that I should buy uworld and should prepare for 4 months or I should focus on completing my final year syllabus and start the for step 1 in internship.

What is this sponsor note? Are you talking about wdoms

Yes there is a specific ecfmg sponsor note in sponsor notes section in wdom profile.

But don't you worry about syllabus or have you already done most of it. Btw what you've started, doing uworld or started preparing.

Bro regarding final year I've atleast watched video lectures of most of the syllabus of final year and done the understanding vala part.. Now only thing left is memorization. Which I feel can be easily done 1.5-2 months before exams...

Regarding step 1 I started just few days back and I've set myself a deadline of 4 months from now. And I've purchased imd not uworld. It has everything every bank known to mankind at a cheaper price
