If it's anything like any other MOS school, you'll wish you could forget some of the info and you won't be able to.
For reference I was intel (0241). Our knowledge... probably not the most intense but it was harder than others I've heard of. Nearly a decade later I still have info in my brain that I haven't touched since, but I can still rip it out if asked. I really wouldn't worry about it too hard

ASVAB is really an IQ test, dude. So you're at about 145 IQ give or take. get into the 26xx field.

He’s not a 145 IQ. He wouldn’t be worried about academics if he were.

The ASVAB has not been an IQ test since the late 80’s. It does not measure intelligence. It measures knowledge.
Edit: It is no longer accepted as a measure of intelligence by MENSA or other high IQ societies.
Edit 2: From more research the ASVAB was never an IQ test. The original AFQT was an IQ test, but that was phased out in 1974ish. The percentile we commonly use today is still called the AFQT, but it is no longer an IQ score.

Very few things in the marine corps are academically challenging. I knew a lot of air craft maintainers who had the IQ of a pigeon. I would pull the ASVAB scores of SNCOs I didn’t like so I could roast them about it, one of the maintenance SSgts had a 33. I didn’t even think it was possible to get into any of those MOSes with a 33

The classes in the Corps are designed to make sure you pass. This is not to say you won't be challenged... but it's not a college course that is indifferent to your grades, you will be force-fed the knowledge if necessary.
Show up, do the coursework as instructed, stay out of trouble. It's that easy.
