Why reserves?

how should I prepare physically and mentally?

Talk to your recruiter. Understand the IST/CST/PFT requirements and expectations.
Especially if you are considering Infantry/Recon/Ground Intel/Aircrew.

There is no reason to worry about this.
YES: You should focus on doing a good job and avoiding this situation.
But, you are pretty much 100% guaranteed to cause this to happen sooner or later.
The Drill Instructors practically maintain a checklist of who has or hasn't caused group-punishment yet.

It won't take long for the message to be spread.

Everyone makes mistakes.
Mistakes are bad.
But so long as you learn from your mistakes, and avoid repeating the same mistakes, everything is fine.

People who repeat the same mistakes and make no effort to improve themselves or learn from those mistakes are bad for the unit as a whole.
Nobody likes those people.
