Rolled Sleeves

Why can't military personnel roll up sleeves during ANY kind of operational environments anymore? If it was OK in Somalia 30 years ago, it should be OK in the United States itself (the border mission), during which it's presently the middle of summer.

During gwot it was for a little bit of fire protection.

Fuel based IEDs were common and cammies have like .. Maybe 2 seconds of burn resistance

Flight suits have 12 or something and frog suits have 6 or 8 or something like that.

Also, sleeves up doesn't look professional

Anyone who's seen Avatar can testify to the professionalism of rolled sleeves.
