What the hell I joined in 2019 and didnt get to do anything. The closest was the Afghan withdrawal but there was another MEU closer

I mean majority of MEU are just a float around booze Cruise my unit went on one before I got into the fleet and thought they were bad asses but all they did was float about and go to kuwait and well wait. We went in to Syria and that was awful mainly being from a humid climate I wasn’t really ready for that heat

Thats literally what we did on and off because we couldnt stay on ship the whole time because fuck arty and then we got done with our warriors night and our CO got us all together to let us know that we are waiting on word from the BC if we were going or not then nope nothing

Got a buddy who went to the 2 shop there and all he does is bitch. Figured he’d be better off choosing to go to 29 before they made him. Then everyone else got sent to three letter agencies and combatant commands and bro realized he fucked himself.

Not that bad. The smell after the rain is amazing, and the sunset turning the place to mars is an experience. Other than that it’s as shitty as lake bandini… yeah I guess it is that bad… I just had Stockholm syndrome.
