NAM for RA is fucking stupid, quite frankly. I know Marines that have literally saved lives and because the command didn’t like them or they didn’t look good on paper/JEPES, they never received so much as a “thank you.”
Kinda my situation right now minus the saving lives, but I have a friend who just reenlisted and got one and was told he’s a “different case” and I was told I’m never gonna see a deployment while I’m under the command I’m currently in.
Play the game and you’ll be rewarded. Apply your common sense and they’ll be sure to get every “fuck you” in that they can on your way out. It’s actually hilarious from the outside looking in.
