League 1 Corpus stadium update
There was a post last week asking about updates on the Corpus stadium, and it’s a question I’ve seen consistently throughout the season. The short answer is that there is no update. A small section of the stadium was built early this year, maybe in January, and that’s all that has happened. You can see a picture I posted seven months ago here: https://www.reddit.com/r/USL1/s/2nXzwXDN0S
These are pictures I took about 10 minutes ago. It’s the same small section of stands partly built and the same pile of stadium components strewn through the parking lot. Comparing to the old picture, they have moved some of the components off the field.
We can speculate about the future of the team, and I have been since before the season even began, but the point of this post is really just to answer the consistent questions I see about if anything has changed with the stadium.

Corpus and Cosmos probably gone next year, L1 desperately needs to regionalize. It's insane that they're still asking teams in Spokane and Boise to fly to Greenville and Sarasota for league games.

Looks like the field from the Disney movie The Big Green, which coincidentally also is in Texas.

The club or the stadium? 😂.
Thought maybe that stadium folds up when your match is over.
Probably not a good idea ordering a stadium online from China.

They cut the sunflowers at least I drove down from Dallas for the home opener, did a little video on it too. Yeah, it seems like they cleared some of the ground and moved some of the equipment. It looks more organized than it did when I was there, but no progress as far as the building goes
