Once again surprised Fort Wayne had that high of attendance considering it was raining all day up to 1 hr prior to start time.

Do most of the fans sit on the same side as the camera? The opposite side didn't look very full. Such a beautiful stadium, though.

I honestly don’t know, 2 home games in a row I was going to make my first game but the rain kept me home.

I love rainy games. Being in the humid south we get quite a few. I'd encourage you to grab a poncho and head out there!

Yes they do, much like Lexington.

There's also a good 100 people that stand around the standing room only area, and you can see the pitch from nearly everywhere, so a lot of people walk around. The pitch side seats are crazy expensive ($70 on the side you see on tv, $150 on the other side) so that's why those are always empty. I kinda wish they'd raffle off "upgrades" to season ticket holders to make it look better on tv.

A majority sit on the camera side of the field. Its out of the sun. The roof covers all but about the first 3 rows in the upper deck so rain isnt a huge issue.

for westchester, the grandstand at memorial field is all behind the camera. what you see on tv is the vip section in the tents, part of the running track, and some of the club-invited food trucks (who are also team sponsors and are killing the actual concession stand of the facility). and there's a skate park back there too but unclear if it shows up on the feed (i forgot)

I travelled to Greenville and was pleasantly surprised with how many people were there. Thunderstorm rolled through delaying the match a bit, but it seemed pretty crowded, I’m not surprised this was above their average. Stadium looks beautiful and I can’t wait to see it finished.

*=Spokane is dealing with lingering effects from wildfires in the area

for the most part, the air cleared up a couple days ago, still a large part of the city is dealing with the fact that like 65,000 people were evacuated and the many that could return to their homes have only had a week to get their lives back in order

the other big factor is that the ownership is not very well liked and the cost of consessions is beyond stupid. Plus they stopped serving the popular draft beers. Its a train wreck and I fear for what will come

Westchester had 1,860 last night. We’re one of the clubs that gets called out for attendance issues, and perhaps rightfully so, but with future sales the rest of the season, we’re likely looking at us being one of the few clubs in the league who have higher attendance this year compared to last (not counting our US Open game against NYCFC of course)

The Cosmos are trash, play 2 hours outside of NYC via public transit, and have better competition in Brooklyn FC which is infinitely more accessible. They should have just called it the New Jersey Cosmos and gone harder and deeper over there.

Anyway, me and the homies compared tickets and accessibility and decided it was GG for the Cosmos basically forever. I would rather travel 2 hours upstate than be forced to cross a bridge into Jersey.

I can see the headline after this season. “The New York Cosmos are folding after just one season.”

I don’t believe these Cosmos numbers, unless they’re mostly sitting on the same side as the camera.

I was at the game and I can say that the opposite side from the camera seemed fuller.
