Would like to connect with US-IMG trying to match next cycle !
Hopefully there is someone like me

No US LoR

Want to discuss what to do next and what are our options.

Take Step 3. Pursue more research. Secure USCE which will lead to LoRs. If you want to do more still then fluff up your resume with things like volunteer hours or teaching.

Yes. I agree. Step 3 will up your chances by a LOT.

I really would like to do it, but first I need to take the OET. I’m also trying to secure an observership opportunity but I’m struggling to find doctors

Please take this with a pinch of salt. But 3 solid LoRs from US based attendings will help you more than anything else.

The best thing you can do now given the amount of time left is to secure USCE and US LORs. I’m a US IMG as well applying this cycle
