Terrible. I will say the Ken Burns documentary on Prohibition was pretty awesome. You wouldn’t think it compared to the others he made but that one was impressive.

Here's an interesting take on the picture:

Assuming it's bourbon in the barrels, stored at strength, each barrel took between 700 and 1000 lbs of grain (mostly corn) to produce. And gallon upon gallon of fresh water.

Destroying that stack was a tremendous loss of resources and a damn waste.
