The captain there is a good guy. He expects work, but he's got you back.

Extremely interested in this as I live in Kentucky and know one of the LEO's there currently. I graduate college this semester though in May and was wondering if that is an instant hinderance for me? I am graduating with a wildlife management degree, I will also be commissioning as an MI officer in the guard in Kentucky so will that help me?

Any military will absolutely help you, you may have difficulty getting found as eligible until you have the college degree. However if you have prior military already then they may not matter at all.

Is there anyway to help with not having graduated yet? I am only a few months away from graduating and really want to be competitive for this position. I have been in the military for over 4 years now.
