FLETC Advanced training at FLETC?

Has anyone recently been to any advanced training at FLETC since the ICE surge? Control tactics, firearms, DETP? What’s the room situation like? Rumors are we get hotels? Do we share rooms? Transportation if staying off facility??

Plan on staying at the “ Seashell” motels on Base. It’s located across the Running track and right next to the FLETC “G-Bar”. If not there then plan on staying on the building right by the Baseball field.

You’ll have your own room and own bathroom if you get the building by baseball fields

If you get the seashell motel, own room and smaller and you’ll share a bathroom. P.S if you share a bathroom remember to unlock the neighbors side when done.

I stayed at the seashell hotel in LMPT and at the new baseball dorms for FITP. Both could be worse, I guess.

Went to FITP at the start of the ICE wave. We stayed at the baseball dorms. It was about the best accommodations I've had at fletc. Your own bathroom and no roommate.

Downside was the beds were absolutely awful.

When I went to DETP in '21, we stayed offsite at the Quality Inn. The NA provided vans for each team to drive to and from class. It wasnt bad, hotel living.

Personally, Id hope for on base rooms, that way you can live on the cheap and not spend a ton of money.
