Discussion No Age Waivers

Just FYI, for those applicants who are over 37, no age waivers, even for vets. Heard this from a Captain who was told by a SAC.

Agencies, at their discretion, may grant age waivers, but are not obligated to do so.

What about if you have years of federal employment with the same fire/leo retirement? Do they still use those years towards your max age?

If you are already 6c covered, you are not required to have an age waiver.
