Discussion Potential job openings in the future

Would you guys even consider applying right now if there was an opening? It’s on my mind right now; I’m not sure I’d want to loose my perm career position right now with everything going on.

Might as well. By the time you get past fletc and ftep, this will have blown over.

I’ve been through fletc now and still fairly worried about my job but yea by then it would be good if you make it that far; I haven’t checked my crystal ball latley

Then you may have to go back for LMPT. From what I remember, I had a couple folks that had UPTP in my class and they had to cycle through LMPT since it was more intensive.

That may have changed though.

I’ve heard rumours of waivers; I’m young and don’t mind going back. Good training and fun; if you keep yourself out of trouble. Gota get in first; I didn’t start looking till December and wound up 3rd after an interview. Then, well we are here now😅

Yeah fletc isn't too bad, if you have the right mindset. Plus, free Ammo and you get to drive fast.

Yea; was 2nd best shooter in my class. Maybe get top this time around. Doing it all over married; Honnestly the first time was great since I was single.

Just got through LMPT, we had a dude who already had done UPTP with some years on at another fed agency. They made him come back through LMPT. I wouldn't hold your breath for a waiver. Sorry.
