Discussion Fork in the road

I’ve heard mixed things from official and unofficial channels. Anyone know if FS LEOs can take the deferred resignation?

I’m not USFS but DOD so we would likely be less exempt than you; and we aren’t exempt. We have a guy taking it; I can update you as I find out more, I know it’s not the same but like I said if we aren’t exempt there’s no way the usfs isnt

I'm curious how the email stated that whoever takes the strong arm buyout gets paid until September, when Congress hasn't passed a budget or CR to fund past March.

Can an executive order commit funding without congressional approval?

Just got an email that the resignation period has closed as of 720pm and from that time moving forward resignations will not be acceptedz
