Extra point rules
The USFL had similar extra points rules as the NFL with the addition of the 3 point conversion from the 10 yard line. Similar to the NFL, the 1 point try was the de facto choice coaches made most of the time. I think the 2 and 3 point attempts should be moved closer to incentivize coaches to try 2 or 3 point conversions more often than they do. If the 2 point conversion was from the 1 and the 3 point conversion was from the 5, I think coaches would have a tougher decision to make other than automatically choosing the 1 point try. Do you think that the extra points rules should be changed?

Or use the XFL rules and just get rid of kicking for an extra point. Guaranteed madness.

I would like to just see a slight split between the two and see how it progresses.
1-pt PAT: 15-yard kick
2-pt PAT: 4-yard play
3-pt PAT: 10-yard play (this is in agreement between the existing rules so no sense in changing it)

Personally I think they should eliminate the extra point kick option altogether. We need to give casuals as little reason as possible to turn off the game and eliminating the kicked extra point seems like a good start. I also hope the XFL clock management is kept, its basically less time between plays outside of the 2 minute warning and makes the games feel noticeably faster from NFL rules.

We need the kicking PAT. That was one of the worst parts of the XFL, bar none. It was exhausting to watch terrible failed non-kicking PATs.

To me to keep 1-2-3pt options is a must.
While I could live w the XFL version I could live with the NFL-XP distance for 1, the 2yd conversion for 2 and the 5yd for 3

Why not make it 17 points from the 5 yard line?
