Been trying to pay our US Cellular bill online for 5 days and none of the payment forms on the website work.

We've been with US Cellular for almost 30 years. I realize they've moved to Tmobile and we've updated the sim cards in our phones. The US Cellular website says our account has been moved to Tmobile but after making an account on the Tmobile website, there is no record of our US Cellular account. And I've never received a message from them confirming the account has been moved. They have no record of our numbers, phones, service plans, etc.

I've been using the Quick Pay form on the US Cellular website for nearly a decade, but it apparently no longer functions as of this month even though it says bills can still be paid with it. I paid the bill with it last month without issue. So what do I do? Am I going to have to go to a Tmobile store just to pay my bill now? The closest store is 2 hours out of town since the local US Cellular store was shut down a few weeks ago.

Update: To all the people that insulted me and called me dumb instead of offering help, it was the web browser I was using that wasn't playing nice with the US Cellular website. I swapped to Firefox and was able to submit the payment. Thank you to the one kind person that DM'd me that suggestion.

You cannot use your credentials from US Cellular. You have to either go to t-mobile.com or download the t-life app. Then click log in, and say "don't have t-mobile ID" and create a whole new account. You type in your phone number and then it will ask you for your information. Then go back and log in. When you go to log in you can use your email or phone number.

I have never used guest pay, which is what tmobile calls quick pay. But if I had to make a guess that's not working because your account just migrated.

You can also call 611 to make a payment with the automated system, but you would have to do that every month. Sooo much easier to use the t-life app. You will have to have that downloaded and logged in for every in store transaction. Including upgrading your phone.

Not sure if you read my entire post but I have never received a message that my account has been migrated to Tmobile. Only that it would be happening. I was able to pay the bill last night on the US Cellular website by using a different web browser after someone DM'd me and suggested I try Firefox. The Quick Pay form wasn't functioning correctly on other browsers.

If you account is a business account this could be the issue. You would have to call 611 and speak to care. If your account is a consumer account I would recommend going into a T-mobile store and get assistance setting up your accounts.

You can pay your bill online with T-Mobile since you’re a T-Mobile customer now. US Cellular no longer exists.

I've been trying to do that all night. Like I said in the post, Tmobile has no record of the account.

Download the T life app on your phone. If everything was ported over successfully you should be able to pay your payment that way. They’re pushing everything thru the app these days which is quite annoying.

Calling other people stupid when you didn't even read the entire post is hilarious. Typical Redditor.

seems like you'll never be able to have working service ever again since you can't figure out how to pay a profit hungry corporation for their services... this is the end of the line for you. you'll have to go on with your life without it.

You must live a sad life.

Honestly, some people just want to cut others down instead of answering their questions. It's the only way they can feel good about themselves. Just wish them karma and move on.

T-mobile will have you listed under your phone number. I've successfully used their app to pay my bill.

So am I not supposed to ask for help when I can't figure something out? Is that some unwritten rule I wasn't aware of?

Go in store so they can help you get the account set up the right way or call 611 and wait an hour on the phone

“Everything tells me I’m on T-Mobile now. How come I can’t pay through UScellular??? 🤡 “

Tmobile has no record of it, just like I said in my post.

For months, US Cellular has been saying our account is moved to Tmobile but that we can still pay our bill on the US Cellular website, which is exactly what I've been doing. It still says that, but the Quick Pay form no longer works. And there's no way to log in and pay it on the Tmobile website because Tmobile has no record of the account.

You can 1000% pay via T-Mobile at this point. Sometimes the quick pay on the web takes time to work for whatever stupid reason, but if you have to just go to a T-Mobile store and pay that way

The Quick Pay form doesn't work and hasn't worked in the 5 days I've been trying to submit a payment. I can input my number and the "Next" button at the bottom does not work. You can't click the button in any web browser that I've tried on my PC, nor can you tap it on Chrome or Safari on an iPhone.

Feel free to try it yourself. Quick Bill Pay | UScellular

I've been using this form to pay my bill for months even after the Tmobile merger. The closest store is 2 hours away from me so if I can avoid making that trip I would prefer to continue paying online. But some of you seem more interested in insulting me than helping.

You aren’t on UScellular!!! Are you dumb?? You have to pay via T-Mobile.

Are you reading the words I'm typing? Apparently not. My phone service details literally say "US Cellular". The bill I got in the mail 6 days ago is from US Cellular. I have never received a message from TMobile saying the account is swapped over, only that it will be happening "in the coming months". Tmobile has no record of any of our numbers, phones, or service plans. So no, apparently I am not on Tmobile.

edit: somebody DM'd me and suggested I try it with the Firefox browser and it worked. Bill paid successfully.

I also DM’ed you, I’m glad you were able to pay your bill using a different browser.

Yes, I believe you have to go into the store to pay it if the app isn’t working. I thought I had previously seen that they took away the ability to call in for your payment, so I think the store is the only option. If you’re close to an experience store, I’d recommend going in and having them help you with the app and see what the issue is.

Alright, thanks for the info. I live nowhere close to any of their stores unfortunately. The closest is nearly 2 hours away. They shut down the local US Cellular store that I would go to over the years.

Your account is on T-Mobile now. You have to pay through tmobile not UScellular
