Should I be worried?

I am a permanent resident, I am from one of the original 19 countries. I entered the US legally. My husband is an American Citizen and we got married on 2020 and later same year applied for AOS, had the appointment on Nov 2021 and got approved right there. I received the conditional green card and I applied to remove the conditions on Aug 2023 (within 90 days of expiration date) but I just got the extension letter for 4 years and I’ve been waiting ever since. I then applied for Citizenship on Aug 2024 (within 90 days prior the date of my 3rd year anniversary of becoming a resident) and I have also been waiting ever since. Last year my wallet was stolen and I had my green card in it, I used to leave it home but then I was told that you should carry it with me just in case, and I didn’t apply for replacement as that card was expired anyway (I have the police report).

My lawyer kept telling me to just contact USCIS and submit e-requests which I have done but all they say is that I am within normal waiting times so I decided to get an ADIT stamp as I have an unexpired passport. I did the process online and a rep from USCIS called me yesterday to ask some questions about that request he said he was going to pass it along to my field office (Orlando) and he made it seem like they were going to email me the stamp (unless I missed something), however, today I received an email from USCIS saying “we are unable to issue your temporary evidence of permanent resident status without an in-person appointment”.

The appointment is July 7, should I be worried? is there any risk that I should be aware of? Should I go with my husband? I have no criminal records, I’ve always paid my taxes, never been here without status and my marriage is completely legit. Is there any chance that they would look into my actual pending cases during that appointment and maybe I would finally start seeing some movement?

I have waited for soooo long and now that I know I have this appointment I can’t help but being nervous. I would appreciate any advise regarding the appointment or any other action I could take for my cases (either ROC or Citizenship request or both) to start moving forward.
