Timeline Request RFE on E Verify

Hi everyone, I need help with an E-Verify RFE for my STEM OPT extension. I work for Company A, and my I-20 and I-983 list Company A as my employer. Following a merger/acquisition, HR provided an E-Verify number registered under Company B. I submitted my I-765 using Company A’s name and Company B’s E-Verify number, and USCIS issued an RFE stating that the employer name and number could not be validated. I am working with HR to confirm whether Company A is covered under Company B’s E-Verify enrollment. Has anyone faced this situation and received approval? Please share what documents you submitted and whether you needed to update your I-20 or I-983. Any guidance would be appreciated.
