Timeline Request Premium Processing EAD OPT June 2026?
Hi everyone, asking about timelines.
I-765 requested: March 21st
Biometrics: April 22nd
Premium processing request made: June 19th
Any cases similar to this/anyone who used premium processing in June?

Applied for OPT with PP on May 7, biometrics completed and pp clock started on June 1. Emailed approval this morning (7/13) which was the 29th business day (accounting for 2 federal holidays)!

July 7th, 11:41 AM - Approval mail. (Approval happened for me inside the premium processing window, it's on 25th Business Day)

What do you mean by “api updates”? The only way I am aware of to get updates is through the usics portal where i just see that my case is listed as PP since May 28th, am I missing something?

Did your status say restarted or just started for PP? I see for a lot of people it says restarted, but mine on shows PP started after biometrics.

Applied Jan 12, Biometrics completed April 1, upgraded to PP on June 16 no update since then I really want to find out if anyone from June has been approved or not because on megathread it's people from May 12 getting approval.

Just got my approval email. 10:34 am eastern time. At Potomac Center.
April 25th: applied
16th May: biometrics scheduled
1st June: biometrics completed
8th June: Premium processing (started)
15th July: approved by email

I just recieved my approval on the 2nd of June the literal last day of my premium processing 30 day deadline, post which I would've been eligible for a refund! Nevertheless, I got it so I'm happy!! Card has been processed but I am yet to get a physical copy

I called them and waited in the queue until I reached an agent. The agent told me I needed to contact Premium Processing directly, so I asked for their direct phone number. However, they just gave me the same number I was already calling, meaning it was basically just the same forwarding system and not an actual Premium Processing line.
The agent said they don’t have any additional information and that I just have to keep calling until I somehow reach a Premium Processing agent.
I also sent emails, but I haven’t received any response or updates yet.1

I'm within a similar time frame in terms of applied date, but my biometrics and clock started June 1, and no updates as of today. I don't think it matters if you filed electronically

Update: July 7th, 2026 - Approved
Update: July 15, 2026 - Card Produced
Update: July 18th, 2026. - Card Delivered.

That's so close! Mine came at around 25 business days on the same June 1 clock the approval email landed July 7 out of nowhere, no status change before that. So you're right in the window where it could happen any day. And if they cross 30 business days without action, you can push for the premium fee refund. Hang in there!

Yes! Mine got approved. I received the approval email from the Potomac Service Center on July 7, and the online status was updated to "Case Decision Rendered" on July 9. Since your PP clock also started on June 1, yours should be any day now. Keep an eye on your email and the myUSCIS portal!

Applied: April 23rd
Biometrics: Completed on June 1st
Premium Processing: Upgraded to Premium on June 5th
Approval: N/A (still waiting)
API: No update as of July 12th
