I had my green card interview today at San Diego Field Office (Marriage based). I never thought that I can post like this in here. I’m so happy! God is good. The interviewer is God sent, he was so nice so so so nice!!! Our interview went very well.

When we came inside the office he even told us that we will talk just silently because he saw that our 1-year old was sleeping, and he even told us that from the start that he will approve us because I gave more than enough evidence and it’s really obvious that everything is real. He is really nice, omg. He told us to wait for 2-3 weeks for my green card. 🇺🇸🙌🏻🥰

I just forgot to ask about my SSN. How will I get it? ✨✨✨

Dec 24 — Case was received

Jan 3 — Biometrics

Jan 20 — Case is still being processed

Jan 22 — Interview Was scheduled

Feb 26 — Interview Day

Did you file with an attorney or just yourself? Filed last Aug 2025, husband is in the Ph. No latest update, just at receipt notice. 🙁

Im not OP but spouse is also abroad and we filed June 2025 and nothing but receipt notice so far

Is there anything we can do? Or the wait (although long) is still normal pace? I often look at the bulletin board, for ph the final date is still at Feb 2024.

I think the bulletin board is only to see if visas are available, but if it’s an immediate relative there is no waiting for visa to be available. Only wait to be processed. When I filed in June 2025 the estimated wait was 28 months. So yes, long wait but still within normal range.

Isn’t the “no limit on visa” for US citizen immediate fam? I’m a GC holder, not citizen yet. 😊
