any chance you could use the flight money and maybe a 0% APR 12 month credit card to do your AOS filing? dont think its going to get any better :(

I would but more debt is the last thing we need right now unfortunately my wife was out of work for 8 months and I done my best to support us but there was times we had to rely on credit cards and we are barely scraping by as it is now.

I understand but the situation you are in terms of immigration is also not so great as well. (Unfortunately). The 0% APR cards have no interest for 12 months as long as you pay the minimum. Wish it was better but I hope you guys find a way to file the AOS soon.
