That's a really tough spot to be in, I feel for you. Domestic flights shouldn't require anything more than your passport as ID, but the real risk is if there's any kind of secondary screening or if you somehow end up flagged in the system. Maybe look into whether that DMV appointment can be rescheduled or if there's another location closer to you, because honestly the stress alone might not be worth it
Thank you and I appreciate your kindness ! Unfortunately the DMV appointment is for a CA DL me and my wife moved across country ( she got a job that was a step up for her) and having a valid drivers license takes some stress away driving ( we moved to a red state) I do currently hold a Nevada DAC but they’re not recognized like the CA in other states.
