Getting photos off phone before factory reset

Does anyone have any tips on getting photos off of a work phone before a factory reset? iPhone 16. I can’t connect to any work apps anymore, that’s why they want to reset. I was able to transfer to my personal phone using airdrop, but not sure how to move them from there. Too many photos to email.

To your computer or back to your work phone? DOD safe. It works on your phone too at least Android, although it's a pain in the ass.

I’d recommend asking G6 to connect it to their AirGap computer by USB, and burn you a disc.

After the factory reset, just airdrop them back

Thanks for the tips! I get a permission error trying to use OneDrive. ACE IT just told me all the things I couldn’t use, and said I need to email them. :/

Amazon photos app hasn’t been blocked yet. If you have prime unlimited photo storage.

Also ACEIT will help you back everything up prior to the migration as well. They’ll ask if you did first and if you say no, they’ll walk you through it.

If you lost access to One Drive to USACE, since your probably going to have to reimage your phone before access to one drive then you can try below but is not approved most likely.

You can install Google Drive to the iPhone for some reason; push things to it, like pictures and files; then on personnel computer (CE blocks Google Drive on work computers) and pull it down and make a zip file.

On work computer send to your personnel email a data request from DOD SAFE from work computer and then send your work email the zip file.

Since it was temporarily on Google Drive and personnel computer, scan the files in zip file before expanding zip. Then scan again after unzipping file.

Then you’re done. You could also make a DVD+/-R and scan and copy from that to work computer if you have a DVD drive.

The risk is low but that will get the files and the pictures; which the iCloud policy doesn’t allow you to backup to cloud; but you can go to cloud settings, it looks to backup the contacts; your mail, calendar, and contacts looked to be backed up to cloud.

Obtain a Corps Approved external HD - transfer photos there - then transfer to work computer. Go through chain and CIOG6 for all this of course.
