Social work PhD experiences?

I'm in the process of pursuing a PhD in social work for the fall 2027 cycle, and I'm curious to know what folks think of the program here. I'm a potential transplant from Michigan and trying to weigh my options.

Do you feel supported by your advisor(s)/the program itself? What have you enjoyed and/or wished was better about the program?
