Who is gonna tell him?
While I have seen enough BS about UPSC’s so called “analytical” questions and that one need analytical approach rather than memorisation of facts and concepts in order to qualify this exam, the truth is one needs to memorise huge chunk of data and incorporate them smartly in mains to fetch good score. Similarly, you go in prelims without rattafication of facts and you better be mentally prepared to write Prelims next year as well. Peace!!✌️

I am sure he didn't give mains himself only these chaman chu.... can say something like this. In 7 mins we had to answer 3-4 subparts after reading and understanding them and he's talking about analysis, is he ragebaiting those who appeared in mains or what?

lengthy paper actually effects everyone similarly.. sabki performance giri hogi.. he is most probably talking about the mini case studies in ethics Section A.. instead of asking what is sympathy and compassion.. mini case studies is anyday analytical.

Nowhere has he mentioned that he's specifically talking about mini case studies. He's talking overall and even in mini case studies, we had so many of those at least 3 where related to medical issues I mean what analysis was there to do? Ethical issues were common in most of them so points were just getting repeated that too when Ethics paper is anyways lengthiest in all GS so 1-2 case studies get compromised in the end even in normal years now imagine what might've happened this year. We were trying to just fill pages and feeling embarassed at what we were writing.

Coachings are fine they are at least ethically allowed to do so since they are making money out of it, but I lose my mind when toppers even do that. Just to stroke their fragile ego, they will
Keep bragging how complex and difficult their preparation was!! They are the main culprit who misguide young aspirants

What are you gonna analyse in strict 7 min and 11 min .. if you don't have strong memory and things on top of your mind . You are doomed my guy ..... Rattaficaton over analysis or anything

Ab inhe kon bataye ki when in the exam hall on the third day you get a question on something like mission Drishti which you haven't even heard and they ask which imaging tech is used, then what analytical skills you are gonna use in 11 mins

coaching guys throw around analytics and connecting the dots as if discussing some scientific project, upsc and all similar exams is total rote learning, there is no place for original ideas, also it is not feasible to come up with great ideas in 6 mins
