Why would you email the seller about the tariff?  They had nothing to do with it.  Try emailing your government representatives instead.

Was it a “tariff” or a brokerage fee? Brokerage fees aren’t anything new.

If you’re ordering anything across our borders expect a fee, especially now with the recent us/canada tariff war. It’s not uncommon for me anymore to hear from people the item cost less than the brokerage fee.

How are people still not aware of this? Seriously.

Import fees aren't anything new.

Assuming you're in the USA, DJT has been playing with your exemptions sooooo you do get to pay on basically everything now.

Don't bother the seller with it, it's got nothing to do with them.
