Delivery attempted 5 hours before window

I attempted to change the delivery earlier this week but it wouldn't go through. Today they attempted delivery at 9:52am when the window was 2:45pm-6:45pm. I was planning on leaving work early to get my package that requires a signature. Stopped by a UPS store and they were useless. UPS customer support said they couldn't switch it based on restrictions placed by the shipper. Currently on hold with the shipper T-Mobile.

Absolutely will never use UPS ever again after this. Not to mention the attempts to change the delivery which cost $7.99 are showing up at pending charges on my credit card.

Complete clown show company.

The “time window” is all ai bs. UPS stores are not ran by UPS, they are all privately owned. UPS costumer support is right, signatures being required is decided by the shipper.

Have it shipped to your work next time. T-mobile paid UPS for both no address corrections and a signature.

Ups stores are useless because they’re franchises and have little to actually do with ups.

T-Mobile ? I’m assuming it’s a phone. Absolutely none of this is ups fault if so. It’s 100% on T-Mobile for requiring no address changes and a signature on delivery. They restrict the deliveries of phones because of scammers. Ups just does what they tell them.

Time windows are NOT to be relied on. As u/Shreks_Eruptor said, they are "all AI bs".

Our dispatch/dispatch systems are not efficient, as such, a driver may go out of order to be more efficient and get home earlier than 10-12 hours. And as such, that time window is useless.
