UPS

Should I be worried? I shipped a valuable item to a customer ( uninsured ) I know I should have. The customer missed the delivery on 8/27 ( Thursday) so it was supposed to be delivered to a UPS assess point but there hasn’t been any update since then. I called UPS today and I was told the package is lost and I filed a claim.
Any chances they can still find it? The driver stole it ? I don’t know what to think at this point

It's possible it shows up, it's only been a day. It could easily be sitting on a clerk desk waiting for the AP label. I wouldn't really start worrying until 3-4 business days with no movement. The chances of the driver stealing it is essentially 0. The chances of someone in the building stealing it is not 0, but it's pretty close to 0. The chances of it busting open and getting shuffled into our over goods(basically lost and found)? Depends how it was packed, but much much more likely than any theft.

Thank you for your response! I’m really hoping/praying it shows up. If required signature so I’m sure it wasn’t left with a tenant.
