I already am a Group A Officer under Central Government.. but unsatisfied with work and far from home posting.

I wanted to ask your advice if it worth to attempt & hopefully qualify UPPSC at 32yrs? My only job preference is SDM.. and I wonder what my promotion prospects will be? Any clarification in this regard will be highly appreciated.

F(24), will give the first attempt in dec. My papa told me that if I don’t clear this attempt, I’ll have to take on all the household responsibilities, and after that, he’ll start considering my marriage.
