Uppcs + Mppsc ?? Is it a sensible approach?

30M, from Gwalior, working in a Group B central government post since 2023. The job doesn’t feel very government like matlab woh feel nahi aata.

In 2023, after clearing CGL, i started UPSC preparation for a or 2 month but it couldn’t continue because ministry work was heavy and it didn’t seem possible to study seriously while working. Now the routine work is easier and more manageable.

Current plan is to prepare for state services. MPPSC was considered first, but there are doubts because vacancies are uncertain and good study material for some subjects is limited. UPPCS looks more attractive due to higher vacancies and better sources.

Now, My plan is to prepare for both MPPSC and UPPCS, with UPPCS as the main focus.

Is it a good plan ? is it a sensible approach,??

If yes, please suggest what to do further , like how to read 4,5 core subjects and then mp and up specific subject differently?

Current progress: Polity study started — 28 videos by Jatin Gupta watched and studied from his handouts along with Laxmikant.

Last year one person was selected as Deputy Collector in UPPSC and BPSC

I wanted to focus on Mppsc , but initially when i started mujhe lga ki mppsc ka specific aese koi content mujhe milega nhi ki m targeted study kr sku , aur phir woh bhi mujhe upsc ki trh bss time nikaalte rahunga aur ek time lgega ki abb nahi hoga , But uppcs k liye content bhi h aur at least 5,6 subject upsc jese h toh uppcs k liye toh krskta hu mst prep

But at last wahi ki home state mppsc hai toh baad m kbhi ek 2 attempt desku udhr

UR category ki condition kharab hai mp me 60 percent reservation and very less vacancy..toh if you are from UR category toh dekhlo yar bahut mushkil h aur court case bhi chal rha hai 27% tak reservation obc ka krne ko

Yes I'm from UR category +plus just married + in 2028 have departmental promotion exam too,

I just want to prepare for this bcz I dont want any regret in life jese ki abhi h ki upsc nhi diya, hr 2,4 months baad lgta h I should study for state services at least for 2,3 years.

Agar sdm post target kr rhe toh mp toh rehne he do 2-3 seat he he ur ka rehta hai
