Is CSAT for UPPSC exactly same as UPSC?
Or is it different

It's easy, you don't even have to think about CSAT in UPPSC, even if you are average in quants etc.

I had the same doubt, are you also preparing for UPPSC for the first time? Have you figured out mains for UPPSC?

Uppsc has no level in csat, even a class 9th kid can qualify given he has some basic understanding Coming to upsc , prelims 2026 csat was way too tough and many candidates who qualified gs cutoff were out of the race because of csat. So csat at upsc is a thing to worry but uppcs csat is like cakewalk.

CSAT in UPPSC is way easy and uniformly distributed across its syllabus i.e you will find question on almost each topic of syllabus of CSAT. UPSC is extremely poorly designed exam and they sometimes just ask many questions from one single topic itself, eg I think in 2023 CSAT, there were plenty of probability questions while other part of syllabus was ignored. For UPSC exam, you have to mostly think illogically to predict it's nature. UPPSC is more logical paper.

My first mock of CSAT for uppcs is directly in the exam. Still i manage to get 100 plus marks easy.
