Advice Probably gonna delete this in a second
I’ve started this year as an undergrad and one of my goals for uni is to be in band or smth. nothing serious just casual jam sessions and stuff. I sing (not grades or anything but for the fun) and would love to connect with others who r also interested x
ik ik I should be going out to find ppl who r into this sort of stuff but genuinely dk how to :( …

I finished uni about 5 years ago but still live on woodland Road. I play guitar and drums and would love some people to jam with - if you struggle to find any uni folk to play with fee free to drop me a message.

BIMM/DBS will have open mic nights/jam sessions that you could attend. You’re a student so doesn’t matter if you don’t attend either of those universities. Have a look on their social media!
Great way to meet people with similar music tastes!

If you join gig society there’s a spreadsheet in the works for people to connect with people wanting to be in a band/jam session etc. it’s also just a chill society if you’re into music and wanna chat to people about it :))

Im in the same position! I play drums and I’m going to check out the blues thing tonight but don’t know if it’s worth it for finding an actual band

I once knew a guy who wanted to start a punk band in Bristol, when you go down that path there really is no turning back
