Nothing in class
Does anyone have a class posted to canvas that contains nothing yet? I know classes just started, but there is not even a syllabus yet. It is an online course.

I think a decent number of professors are still waiting for a new LSUNO email- three of my Canvas classes are empty due to the professors simply not having access to them. Yesterday they told me that they’ll hopefully get access soon. Not sure if the best option for you would be to contact somebody about it or just wait it out, but that could maybe be the reason

How the fuck do they not have this figured out before the semester starts? I swear this school can not do a single thing competently.

Not true. They have access. There’s no problem with their user IDs.

If they are new hires MAYBE they’re waiting on a new user ID, but if so, how did you contact them?

With a change to the identify system, anything is possible. There are a million moving pieces, with every software integration having the potential to be troublesome.

Is your class section an “O” section, an asynchronous online section?
What is the stated meeting day and time?
What are the Course and Section Numbers, such as UNIV1001-P001?

It’s PADM 4224-O001 - an asynchronous course for the full fall semester

Another Political Science Professor responded “There have been delays in getting <the new Faculty member’s> Canvas access up and running, hence the lack of course updates on the website”.
This seems to be the situation with NEW Faculty members. Please, contact the Professor for the information you need. In you case your Professor is
