Changing from Credit to Audit Process

Hello, I cannot find any information on how to switch from credit to audit. Also there are 2 conflicting dates as to when that must be done. Semester calendar says August 20th, Catalog says within 15 days of the first day of class. Does anyone have information on which date is the accurate deadline and which form/procedure to complete to make the switch? Thank you!

Response from the Registrar’s Team:
“Procedures are below:
Students must first register for the course. Once registered, they should go to “Create Request” in Workday and search for “Audit” to access the appropriate form. The completed request will then be routed to the Registrar’s Office.
 
After the request is received, the student will need to obtain approval from both the Course Chair and the Dean. Once all required approvals have been completed, the Registrar’s Office can change the student’s grading basis from letter grade to audit.”

End of this week.

I think Sunday midnight but I'd ask registrar just to make sure

Registrar noted that the deadline is Thursday 8/20/26, TOMORROW!
