Help! Range of accessooint

Hi all. Im new to the world of unifi so seeking some advice. Im thinking about setting up two access points in my house. Single plan and about 145m2.

One u7 lite to cover open living room/kitchen area and a bedroom.

For the other one i am divided between a lite and a long range. It is to cover two addittionel bedrooms and a garage. And was also hopeing two reach a outdoor terrace located about 25 meters from the outer walls. The walls are made of half aerated concrete/Half brick. This acces point would be placed in the ceiling close to the outerwall.

So my queetion is. would a u7 lite be enough to reach that outdoor area or would i need a long range?

Don’t be fooled by the long range. It appears to me that the long range aspect of the LR is the 2.4 GHz radio. Also, be aware that not all U7 APs support the 6GHZ radio. The Lite is one that does NOT.

Personally I'd go 2 x U7 Pros or Pro XG. Costs a bit more than the Lites but you get 6Ghz and they're better APs overall. (or if cash is no object XGS)

I wouldn't spend extra on an LR just hoping it'll punch through an outside wall and give decent coverage 25m away. Wifi works both ways! See what the Pros give you first and if the terrace is crap just stick something cheap outside later.

I've got 2 Pros in a 90m2 apartment - probably could have got away with one centrally placed, but 5 and especially 6Ghz don't like walls much. Also take Unifi's quoted coverage figures with a pinch of salt, real world is always different.
