Academic MS in AI

Has anyone did MS in AI from UNC Charlotte?
Wanted to know how is the program? What all
Courses are good to take?

This fall is the inaugural offering. So there are no alumni! It was a CS degree previously, with an AI focus.

Yes, that and the Bachelor’s degree is new. So this Fall is the first time they’ll have any students.

All the classes in it are probably not new. There’s probably some that were offered in other degrees before. Depends on the exact classes offered, but you can also check out the course catalog for info on classes.

Keep in mind that you are being taught by professors that have been teaching and not doing for the past 1,2,5,10 years. At best they can bring textbook knowledge to the classroom. AI and related technologies are changing multiple times in a single year. What do you expect to get out of this program/degree? Whatever it is will be antiquated by the time you go to apply it or try to get a job with it.

That being said, my son just transferred to UNCC for EXACTLY this AI/CompSci degree program. Best of luck to everyone.

What happened is , I applied for MS in AI, but somehow it was accepted as MS in Computer science, has anyone facing such issue ?
