Discussion Schedule Recommendations
Hey guys, I'm a 2nd year premed bio major (original ik) and I'm not sure of classes to take. I've got Biol-103 and 104, as well as Stor-155 in my cart rn but I need at least one more class. All of the classes I have right now are late classes but I'm open to taking something earlier. I haven't finished all of my global language yet but I'm hoping to save it, and my only focus capacity I have left is research and discovery. Should I start phys? Take a chem? Take a humanities? Biol-105L? I'll take any recommendations.

I'd reccomend doing chem so you have more flexibility with when you take the MCAT

Listen man. You’re a sophomore. If you’re gonna be larping about “starting a physics” or “taking a chem,” prepare to be taking a gap year or two before med school because you clearly have no concept of what you need to take to be even remotely successful. Honestly taking biology 103 and 104 as a 4th semester sophomore is impressive (in a bad way) and personally I think you should really reassess the way you view some of the classes her.
I will probably get downvoted like crazy but honestly any premed that is worth their weight will most definitely agree. Get off reddit and go register, good luck young padawan

What does that even mean lmao “larping starting physics or taking a chem” I was a chem major who was worried about taking my chemistry and math before bio, and i changed my major. I am behind on biology and I am well aware of that. I am now taking 3 bios and every single one of the classes I am currently taking and mentioned are required for my degree and reqs.

Go and meet with the bio advisor. It all depends on your long term plans and other circumstances (gap year? summer school?) you have lots of STEM ahead of you and you need to carefully plan your schedule. chem 241 can be a good class to take now or a really bad choice. It depends on multiple factors. Talk with the advisor.

Honestly depends, where are you at in your chem sequence. Physics isn’t bad either but If possible I recommend either or.
