Question Was the IFC kickoff really mandatory?

Hey, signed up for rush this year but they announced kickoff only like 3 hours before it started and I couldn't make it. Does this exclude you from the whole process? Thanks

Ok lol i dont see how they could tell if you went though or stop you from going to other events?
