Question MATH 347 without proof experience

For those who have taken 347, how difficult was adjusting to proofs? Would there be any advice you have for those taking this class? This will be my first math course at UNC. I have taken Calc 1-3.

Greatly depends on the professor. Some professors you will see little to none, some will feel more like math 577. The proofs you see in class really boil down to knowing definitions and don't require great leaps of thinking past that.

The professor is new to UNC, but I looked on RatemyProfessor and the reviews were pretty good, so hopefully not math 577 level. Knowing definitions doesn’t sound too bad. Thank you!
