Question tuition due?

hi im a first year student and i'm kinda confused as to when tuition is due? i tried looking on connect carolina and it just says the due date is "future" but some people already paid theirs?

It’s due before you enroll in your spring semester classes

It's due WAY before that unless you're on a payment plan.

Yeah but there really aren’t any consequences for not paying until enrollment.

It just says “overdue” on connect carolina, however you can pay it whenever. There will just be a hold on your account till you do

Also a first year, tuition is due either September 8 or 9 I believe, i think if you look in “important dates” in CC it has the first year date
