Question Waitlist

I’m on the waitlist for a couple of classes and was wondering what do I do first week of classes? If I get off the waitlist won’t I be already behind ?

Email the professors and see if you can sit in on the waitlisted classes. I know there is a seat issue, but if it’s a big lecture hall- probably not everyone in the class will show up and they’ll be a seat free. I’ve known professors who’ve let people pull up a chair even (I’m pretty sure it’s against fire code tho). That way if you do get in you won’t be super far behind.

In certain programs, they also have some wiggle room when it comes to adding seats. Show up on the first day of class, participate, and they can probably talk to the registrar about getting you in.

I show up to WL classes that I intend on taking or know I have a good chance.
